As an artist, I mainly work in the disciplines of printmaking, life drawing and painting, yet I do not confine myself to these fields alone. My practice is exploratory, focused on continuously learning new techniques and expanding my visual language. Women and the position of women form a recurring theme, both in imagery as well as in the choice of materials and techniques, In addition, nature is a constant source of inspiration. My work moves between experiment and tradition, combining a variety of techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als kunstenaar werk ik met name in de disciplines grafiekkunst, (model)tekenen en schilderen. Maar probeer ik me zeker niet tot deze disciplines te beperken. Mijn praktijk is onderzoekend en gericht op het voortdurend leren van nieuwe technieken en het uitbreiden van mijn beeldtaal. De vrouw en de positie van de vrouw is een terugkerend thema, zowel in beeld als wel materiaalgebruik en\/of techniek. Daarnaast is de natuur een voortdurende inspiratiebron. Mijn werk beweegt zich tussen experiment en traditie waarbij verschillende technieken worden gecombineerd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
